Consultation Services for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

If you’re looking to treat ailments or recover from surgery through TCM but are unfamiliar with Chinese healthcare, we can help you understand essential information before your medical tourism trip to China. If you’re working in China and are in good health, you can also follow us for future service when needed.
I. Differences Between TCM and Western Medicine
- Natural Remedies: TCM primarily utilizes natural herbal medicines, while Western medicine relies mainly on chemically synthesized drugs.
- Holistic Approach: TCM emphasizes overall well-being, offering unique advantages in managing chronic diseases. Conversely, Western medicine excels in treating acute illnesses, severe injuries, and infections.
- Cost Efficiency: TCM treatments are generally more affordable than those in Western medicine.
II. Overview of Chinese Healthcare Institutions
As of 2023, there are approximately 1,070,785 healthcare institutions in China:
- Beijing: 10,897
- Shanghai: 6,404
- Guangdong Province: 59,531
These institutions include general hospitals, specialty hospitals, TCM hospitals, clinics, health agencies, and disease control centers.
